As the general counsel of a holding development company, Rustem has lead three comprehensive residential development projects in the City and the Region of Moscow (with a total residential area of 550,000 sq.m.). The work included negotiating and drafting of agreements for lease, acquisition and mortgage of (oncoming) land plots, shared construction agreements, general construction contracts, contracts with the designers for development of (pre-)design documentation and the (structural and building services) engineers, including some FIDIC agreements. Also, he was assigned to manage court and out-of-court disputes against investors and contractors for the development company. For the time being, we are advising an international client on enforcement of the pledged clothing shop under the mortgage that we have registered in the Moscow immovable property register (EGRP) in March of 2015.
